salted chocolate chunk cookies with caramel bits

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
½ cup chocolate chunks
¼ cup caramel bits*

Preheat the oven to 375° and prepare a BONMAT covered perforated baking sheet.
*if you don’t have bon COOK products, prepare a lightly-greased baking sheet
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
Beat the softened butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a separate large bowl.
Once creamy, add the eggs, one at a time.
Gradually beat in the dry ingredients until well-combined.
Stir in the chocolate chunks and caramel bits.
Roll dough into 1 inch sized balls and place them evenly onto a lightly-greased baking sheet.
Top the cookies with sprinkles of bon Salt natural [or any flakey salt].
Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool and enjoy!
